At a recent event on value for money and the role of internal audit, I shared some ideas around a manifesto for internal audit teams to help gather our thoughts and communicate what we can do, and how we can achieve it.
Value for money, return on investment, financial sustainability are key topics for all businesses and therefore an area for internal audit to focus on. This is a strategic area in which internal audit needs to demonstrate its own value.
